Ford Sync not connecting via Bluetooth on Iphone

For a couple of weeks now My phone does not want to connect to my car's Audio System, i tried everything removing the device, forgetting the device, switching on and off nothing works. the problem started with the latest update of IOS, i Have a 2015 Ford Focus ST3 and seems that the bluetooth on my Iphone is incompatible withthe Ford Sync i have in my car.

Is there any solutions to my problem. i tried using car play but my car is too old. Car Play only works on fords built from 2017 onwards. please let me know if i can update my ford sync somehow or if there is something out there that will help.
