12.1.4 no longer appears to support powered USB hub

Updated to 12.1.4 today and since then I cannot get a connection with my midi keyboard and usb microphone through a usb powered hub. I get message that "this accessory is not supported by this ipad". I'm using the official ipad camera adapter which is plugged into the usb hub. Never had this problem before. Has anyone else experienced this? Hesitant to say it's definitely related to the update but the timing is suspicious.

Actually I found that the problem was a stressed-out cable. It was apparently broken internally where the cable plugs into the iPad.

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
