Flickering horizontal lines on Macbook Pro late 2016

Hello,

A couple weeks ago I opened the lid of my MacBook and suddenly these horizontal and vertical lines appeared on my screen.

The options for resetting my MacBook didn't work out unfortunately and a search on Google didn't gave me information..

Does somebody know what kind of issue this is? The device is working properly but these lines are quite annoying after a while tbh..

My MacBook is a 13" Macbook Pro late 2016 with touchbar.

This could be RAM or GPU starting to fail. You can Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

But I would not be optimistic

You can try running the Diagnostic/AHT hhttp://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509

may kick out an error code.

Hi,

Did you find anything new on your side? I went to an apple official repair center and told me after resetting SMC and the RAM thingy that it could be either the GPU failing or an issue coming from the display. Either way I would look at a 800/1000€ repair for purchasing a 2800€ MB Pro 15’ late 2016 2 years and 2 months ago.

Is there another programmed obsolescence ? As I see 600 thread on the subject on the community discussions...
