How To Add A Chapter
Hi, I cannot find how to add a chapter so that once the movie is burned to DVD I then can have the option which chapter to watch. Please can someone help as Ive had no luck so far.

There is no feature for adding chapters in iMovie 10.
There is an app available in the online app store, for $4.99, called MetaDoctor that others on this forum have reported successfully adds chapters to an iMovie project.
You also can add chapters if you have GarageBand version 6.0.5. The newer version 10 does not do it.
If you have a functioning version of iMovie 9 or iMovie 6, you can add chapter markers there by importing into those programs the shared-out movie from iMovie 10. Then share it out again from the older program and import into your DVD authoring program.
Finally, you may be able to add chapters from within the DVD authoring program that you are using. In iDVD, for example, you can single click on the movie link in the project window, and then go to Advanced/Add Chapter Markers. You will be able to add chapter markers at time intervals like every 1, 2, or 3 minutes. Unfortunately, this method does not allow for precision placing of the marker.
