Calendar not allowing multiple alerts

Newer OS's seem to not allow one to create multiple alerts for an event in calendar. Even if I go into the event on iCal on my computer and add multiple alerts, my phone will never send more than one. Have missed several appointments because calendar doesn't remind me.

Hi there, Drmoth2.

I see that the calendars on your iPhone and Mac aren't working correctly together. You can't set multiple alerts for events on your iPhone, and updating the event on your Mac isn't syncing to your phone. I'm happy to help.

Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone -- You should be able to add up to two alerts for an event. Review the steps under "Add an Alert".

Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders -- When you add something to the calendar on one device and it doesn't sync with the another, it usually means that the default calendar is incorrect. This article provides the information and steps that you need to get them working as expected.

Take care.
