I've just burn a CD of 3 original songs (from a commercial CD of my own) and on my computer the track information appears. However, on a friends computer I just get track 1, track 2, etc.
All of my songs are out there for sale on itunes, etc so I know the info is out there somewhere, not just on my own computer.
How do I burn a CD so that the track and artist info will appear on any computer or CD player?

Only the computer on which you burn the CD will show the tracks in iTunes. iTunes on other computers will not be able read the info except when the disc is an exact copy of the original disc. Only some car players are capable of showing CD TEXT.

As I mentioned, it only works on the computer that you burned the disc. CD text does not appear on other computers .

Hey, thanks for this. Trtied it but it still didn't work. Put the CD in another computer in the household, still just get track 1, track 2, etc.
