I have a new MacBook Air. The first time I tried to update apps, I got this message:
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user of the item was refunded or cancelled.
I was trying to update Pages. HELP!

In the Mac App Store, click on your profile photo, find the list of purchases, and then an option to accept Pages and the other preloaded applications into your Apple ID.

If you didn't custom-order that Mac with software such as Final Cut Pro, delete and redownload the applications it's referring to.
If you did, click here and contact Apple.

Thank you. Does it then take a period of time before I can update that software?
It now tells me "my request is temporarily unable to be processed."
Now it tells me it is unable to assign those applications to my account.
