Login failed
Suddenly, there is a "login failed" message on the top right of my mail (I have a gmail account.) I am online. I keyed in the correct password. How do I fix this?

Suddenly, there is a "login failed" message on the top right of my mail (I have a gmail account.) I am online. I keyed in the correct password. How do I fix this?

Have you tried quitting/reopening Mail? Try in the Safe Mode and see if it does the same thing.
If it still isn't working, select the account's mailbox(es), then Mail/Mailbox/Export mailbox to create a backup of your emails. Delete the account and add it back.

You are welcome. Can you fill in the information shown in your last screen shot to add ports and the other information?
If you click on edit and don't get anything, I don't know what else to suggest.
This Etrecheck was done a week ago when we were having this discussion. The only thing I did was to delete the AOL account and then add it back to my Internet Accounts. Do I need to run Etrecheck again or will this one suffice?
Eric . . . do I need to delete this on Pastebin or does it time out? Thanks!
