Macbook Pro crashing and restarting daily.

There's some app or extension that is causing my Mac to crash several times a day. Short of doing a full disk format and OS reinstall, how do I figure out what's causing the crashes?

Create a new user account and see if the problem still occurs in the new account. If this fixes the problem, then you can concentrate on things directly related to your main user account.

If it doesn't solve your problem, then perform a Safe Boot which loads the minimal drivers and disables other startup items.

Run the Apple Hardware Test or Apple Diagnostic depending on the age of your system to check for hardware issues. If the tests pass and your laptop uses a hard drive, then run DriveDX to check the hard drive's health. Feel free to post a screenshot of all the drive's "Health Indicators".

You can use EtreCheck and post the report here (using the icon which looks like a piece of paper to attach extra text).

What is the exact model of your laptop? You can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About this Mac". What version of macOS are you running?
