Problems with Mac

Recently failed to update Mac to High Sierra. After some time couldn't even boot into Recovery Mode. When switched on only a huge power sign with tons of languages in front of it. After a few tries booting into Recovery it just showed up a symbol of a cross. What's happening to it and how can I fix it?
