Can't access Documents in iCloud

My iCloud account tells me that it's full, and I can see that there are apparently 10.6GB of "documents" there - but when I try to access the Documents folder (per Apple's guide), there's nothing in the folder. I have no idea what the files actually are, or where to access them so I can review and delete unneeded documents. Any advice?

Hello nicebird,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you're wanting to free up iCloud storage, however you're not able to locate documents stored in iCloud. I would be happy to help point you towards a resolution.

Here's a resource that could help:

Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support

Specifically, follow the steps under the "Delete files in iCloud Drive" section to try to locate and delete documents. You may also want to reset Documents and Data if you're not seeing the documents stored in iCloud:

iCloud: If iCloud documents and data aren’t the same

Cheers!
