macOS Mojave 10.14.4 Security Update 2019-002 error

Hi all,

Does anyone having this issue "macbook installation couldn't be completed"? after installation of

macOS Mojave 10.14.4, Security Update 2019-002 High Sierra, Security Update 2019-002 Sierra

make sure you first take snapshot before running these updates luckily I did.

I did update this security patch yesterday and today my system crashed on me.

Incase you do then just revert it back using time machine option. Restart your system and press Command and R key simultaneously.

Why would you try and install a High Sierra update?

Are you runing Mojave— 10.14.4 is the update.

Did you try restarting— ?

If you can boot successfully you can always reinstall the 10.14.4 on top of your existing 10.14.4 to sort out any anomolies—download the combo upste: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1996?locale=en_US

You should not install security updates not intended for the version of macOS you are running. In your case it is Mojave. You tried installing security updates for High Sierra and Sierra.
