I have a working e-mail address saved on my iPhone and need to install/transfer same e-mail account to my iMac. I don't remember the account's password and the provider doesn't support resetting the password. How can i access the password saved on my iPhone?

I would think that the email password wouldn't be visible as plain text. Imagine someone borrowing your iPhone, browsing the settings and discovering the password to your email account. This would seem to be a large security hole. Though, I could be wrong.

Thank you for your reply! But this is not exactly right in this way you wrote. Because even if you borrow your phone to someone, he/she can never see your passwords because there is one more authentication process if you want to access passwords on iPhone.
