Will Apple Notes ever have handwriting recognition?

As an author, I have stacks of paper notebooks. I have searched the App Store for a replacement to paper notebooks. I have found a few very fine notes app, yet none of these sufficiently fit my needs. Apple Notes is by far the best note taking app I have found in functionality, formatting and syncing between devices (text wrapping would be a big plus). Yet, I would love to not only handwrite my notes there, but also to convert handwriting to text. My inspiration flows in handwriting, and my mechanical finesse is by way of typing. In all of my years as an author, my greatest chore has been to take upward of 10 pages of handwritten notes and manually type them, repeating the work. Will Apple soon include this functionality in Notes?
