dictation is duplicating what I say

fuelant, GatorApples post was a reply to srivastava000, who wrote "As you know, duplicates dont happen on iphone", saying he had problems on iPhone too, as others mentioned in this discussion. So, if you read further, you see he was not denying problems of others.

This discussion has a lot of posts... Well, focusing back to the theme, we see that the flaw is omnipresent, it can happen in any program to which you can dictate to, and, as it seems, any device.

Glad that helped you. Doesn't explain my prob, which is only in Safari on a High Sierra mac, not iPhone or iPad.

Turning repeat key off did not work for me.

Nope, they don't take hints from here... if they do in fact from anywhere, it'd be here if you take a few million others with you...

Ok, I was thinking maybe VoiceOver was echoing the stuff.

I experience this, but only in Safari.

Dictation in other applications - I tried TextEdit and Mail - seems to work fine.

I have the same problem but as someone else has mentioned, it happens only with Safari. I have been using dictation in Chrome and its works well.

No I have been using chrome when I really need to dictate. As you know, duplicates dont happen on iphone.

OK, I also turned off Touch Bar typing suggestions under text, and turned off enhanced dictation… Try that

I have the same problem. Apple must have a bug or something.
