No Audio when importing Video

When importing Video into FCP there is no Audio. Storage Location is in Library. Doesn't matter which fileformat or container. Happens with video from DJI, from Sony and Canon. .mov and .mp4

In Preview and QuickTime there is no issue with the sound at all - it plays.

Imported in FCP - no waveforms and no sound-output.

Usually solved by "Reveal in Finder" and "Drag&Drop" the clip again.

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.14

Whenever something is not working, deleting preferences is one of the first things to try. Hold down command and option while starting FCP and click Delete Preferences.

Also, disappearing audio is sometimes a symptom of still having Perian installed. Go to System Preferences and if Perian is there, uninstall it.
