Losing wired internet connection on Apple TV 4K

I have an Apple TV 4K and Apple TV 2. My 4K Apple TV keeps giving me the error “No Internet Connection” despite being wired via ethernet 5e directly to our router. I have “gig” speed internet, all of our devices work properly, and when I get the error I can immediately run a Ookla Speed Test and get 300-900mbps speed on the Apple TV 4K itself. My Apple TV 2 in another room (also wired via ethernet) never does this.

I have reset and restarted my cable modem, my router, and my Apple TV 4K and it still continues. I have also ensured I have the most up to date firmware on all devices.

This is really annoying and must be an Apple TV 4K issue as it is the only device in the house that does this. It does it continually (about 2x every 5 min or so while streaming) and causes my streaming to stop. I usually have to back out and relaunch my app or wait 30+ seconds for the app to get back up and running on its own. It happens in Hulu, Netflix and other video streaming services. It is an Apple TV error and not an app error.

Please help!!!! I want to drop kick this thing through the wall...

Apple TV 4, tvOS 12
