carplay maps route mileage display

Since the last IOS update, carplay map apps have the mileage truncated. Before, the routes options listing the time and mileage were fully displayed. Now, the mileage is cut off. It seems like the text box was resized.

CarPlay Maps navigation view zoomed in? When I am using navigation in Maps on CarPlay to drive from city A to city B, during my trip, Maps shows the entire geographic span of the trip. I’d prefer to see a zoomed in view so I can see what is ahead (similar to what you see when you are NOT in navigation). is there any way to change this? Seeing the marker triangle when my trip is 130 miles and that entire span is on the screen isn’t very helpful.

When using my i-phone with carplay for navigating there are times when I lose my map and only have my location icon on an empty grid on screen. The map doesn't just blank out entirely. You can see the empty grid approaching as you drive towards it. You can see the empty grid approaching as you drive towards it. It's as if Apple maps doesn't have any info for that area. Then, later, as you approach an area for which Apple maps has info, you can see a map until you reach that map and everything goes back to normal.

In iOS 16.2, using Apple Maps, CarPlay does not display route information onscreen In iOS 16.2, using Apple Maps, CarPlay does not display route information onscreen. After setting a destination and starting the route displayed on the iPhone, the Apple CarPlay app does not display the route (blue route trace to destination) on the CarPlay display (2020 Acura TLX). Trying to debug this.
