Continuity camera was working but no working anymore.

I have iOS 12.2, Mojave 10.14.4, logged in to both devices with same Apple ID, both devices are on the same WiFi, two factor ID is on on both devices, Bluetooth is on. When I go to Insert from iPhone>Take Photo, it tells me to take the photo but nothing happens on iPhone or iPad (iPad Pro 2017) and after a while a time out message appear. I attached a screen shot.

I have restarted both devices,

Logged out, and logged back in (Which is a pain in the $%&)

Restarted again

logged out, restarted, logged back in

sent verification code

resent verification code....

Still does not work, What am I missing?

iPhone 8, iOS 12

Hi there, chentox!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having an issue with using your iPhone as a Continuity Camera with your Mac. You've tried excellent steps so far and next, check out this article with steps for How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac to create a new user and test the issue in the new account to see if the issue is user specific or system wide.

Let me know the results and take care!

Hello and thanks for your advise.

I followed ALL THE STEPS, even I set up a BRAND NEW TEST ACCOUNT with a session on my MPB and an old iPhone 6s I have for back up. It was reinitialized as a new phone.

Set everything up. Around 35 minuts I though was easier on apple but, no APPLE you´re making stuff harder and not plug and play!

Set the two-factor Au. up. Finish all and when I try continuity camera it FAILS!!!! same message. :(

SOOOO frustrating. This is happening after the last update of Mojave and IOS 12.2. Can't tell which one cause the issue.

Well, for everyone! ATTENTION.

I just open my MBP and guess what!

The middle plug cable of the WIFI card was unplugged. I plugged in, secure it and VOILA! Continuity camera works flourless!

I was just dusting and cleanning the MBP... It is so goooooood!

Leave a picture, hope to help everyone! I think apple should put more security on plugs! my computer never leave the desk, no hits, no falls, no I really do not know how it unplug.
