Can I change the iPod battery?

Old iPod - just want to use it for music. Can I change the battery or does it have to be sent in to Apple?

Hi.

You can replace the battery but wouldn’t recommend this unless you know what your doing and your warranty would be void.

apple can replace the battery for you at a cost.
