Saw a lot of people saying there Axiom was inexplicably detuning. Mine was too but I found that simply changing to another preset on the Axiom solved the problem, (I was using preset 17 as recommended for use with Ableton Live but when I switched to preset 20 - also recommended for Live all was fine.)
So don't throw the Axiom away.
I may be responding to an old post but it's a recent problem for me. My Mac is a 2014 Mac Mini used for over 4 years on the machine with no problem until recently. As I cannot see that the problem was satisfactorily solved back then (the consensus was throw the Axiom away!) I figured that having seemingly found a solution it would be good to post it on the off chance that someone might still be in my situation.
What Mac are you using? This forum is for pre-1998 Apple hardware and gets almost no views. If you are posting useful information, you don't want it in the sub-basement of topic areas!

I've seen this happen lately where we get what appear to be "orphaned" responses to old threads. Technically old threads should be locked to further posting. However the Powers That Be changed the forum software last December and the bugs are still being worked out.
I think you did the right thing to share a solution but, with the current software situation, it's hard to "find a home" for some subjects. When you add to that Apple's reluctance to give this forum an intuitive name ( like "Pre-1998 Apple Hardware") then we see most of the posts here needing a move to get attention. That is not on you at all.
Anyway someone else got you moved to the Mac Mini forums which is active. Another place to consider would be one of the forums for Pro audio Apps: Professional Applications - Apple Community
