I am trying to restore my iMac. Disk erased. Spinning globe then -2002F error. Please help!

My iMac 2017 model needs OS reinstalled. I erased the HD. I got a spinning globe after depressing Command-R. The globe stopped and an error message -2002F appeared. How can I get my iMac restored? Thank you for assistance.

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS 10.14

How are you connected to internet, Hard wired, or WiFi? Best it is hard wired, or with ethernet cable. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904

Are you sure issue is solved? I see somebody else replied to your post, maybe "mods" deleted another reply for some reason?
