Is there a way for me to have the phone ring when paired with my Bluetooth headset? Right now is just rings in the headset and if I’m not wearing it I can’t hear my phone ring. Thanks for your help.

I see that you have a question about not hearing your iPhone ring when your Bluetooth headset is connected. I certainly understand wanting to be able to hear the phone ringing, and I'd be happy to help.
If you have the headset on and paired to your iPhone and you're not using it, you could power off the headset and you should be able to hear the phone ringing then. This would show that they are not connected to your iPhone at that time. Otherwise, you'd have to unpair and then pair them back together every time you want to use them. Not sure that is an option that you'd want to use, but the article below would help with pairing and unpairing if needed.

That seems to defeat the entire purpose of having a hands free device. I want to be able to pick up the headset. (BlueParrott 450) when I hear the phone ringing, not have to try to turn it on and off while I’m driving or operating machinery. Is there no way to have my phone ring/notify me as usual without the BT headset connected?
