How do I disable adblocking in safari?

I am using Version 12.1 (13607.1.40.1.5) of Safari.

If I go to Safari->Preferences->Extensions is shows that I have no extensions installed.

When I visit http://kmlviewer.nsspot.net, I press the "choose file" button and select a kml file. I then get the message:

"Please disable the adblock for free use."

If I go to Safari->Settings for This Website, "Enable Content Blockers" is unchecked, "Auto-Play" is set to "Allow all auto-play", and "Pop-Up Windows" is set to "Allow"

I do not see any other settings that would further disable ad blocking. Is there anything more I can do?

There are several sample kml files out there, but you can take the text from:

and create your own .kml file easily.

Did you edit /etc/host file?

Download EtreCheck, run it to see if there is any adware installed or not.

Click “Click to download” button,

Open Downloads folder, click on it to open, and then select ”Open”.

“Choose a problem” from the popup menu box, and then “Start EtreCheck” in the dialog.

Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy report” .

Paste the report when you reply if you wish.

Note: This is a diagnostic test.

If 5000 words limit applies: Split the report into two parts and post as two separate posts.

Scroll down the sidebar, click the "Report" button and read it.

Do you see /etc/host under "Configuration files" listed?

See if going to Safari/Preferences/Privacy and unchecking Prevent cross-site tracking helps.

The behavior remains unchanged. The adblock error still appears.

I can't get that web site to load. I receive an error message that the site can't be found.

You may need to remove a comma at the end of the url...

It should be:
