MacBook Pro case Pitting

I have a late 2016 MBP and have also noticed pitting on the upper case - nothing anywhere else on the machine , just the surface of the upper lid . Seeing as others have not seemed to get a satisfactory answer/resolution on this I will keep an eye on mine though it does seem to be getting worse .

Cracked screen at hinge of MacBook Pro M1 2020 The MacBook Pro's sharp case edge cracked the screen at the hinge (following a service for a battery issue). The left hand side has the same problem, but less deep for now. The sharp edge of the case cuts directly into the screen as it closes. This happened in the days following when I got my computer back from a service. Anyone else have this experience?

Bottom case looks bent near fan vents I recently did an inspection of my 2020 MacBook Pro and I found the bottom case a little bent near the left and right vents. I'm uncertain if whether this MacBook Pro was designed like this and other mbps look like this too or if this is a defective product. Thanks.

Is it normal for the MacBook to chip all along the front, left and right of the keyboard? On the MacBook, I had seen chipping around the palm rest. Just days ago, I realized that there were long, narrow fragments missing from along the front, left and right of the keyboard. I don't know when or how these pieces fell off. I could see inside the computer, where there was metal. That must be exposed hardware. Gunk had fallen inside. I realized that if things were falling inside the computer, it could be dangerous. The keyboard would get hot, giving me a burning throat. I never turned the computer on again. I read about people getting the keyboard replaced because of chipping on the palm rest. Is it normal to have so much of the keyboard fall apart so that you could see metal hardware inside? Thank you in advance.

All you can do is take it, and get a service record on the issue. Let Apple tell you what is the best coarse of action.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
