iMessage question

Basically, I’ve given my old iPhone to a friend to use for a couple of days and I want to know if she’ll be able to see my old iMessages. I turned the phone on and the only messages that were there were those before I switched to my new phone (don’t care if she sees those) but it did prompt me to enter my iCloud password to use iMessage. I didn’t think anything of it and didn’t put my password in, assuming the messages that were there would be the only ones she would see. My question is, if she puts my password in (which she knows), will the messages between then and now load in? It was my understanding that if she enters the password then the iMessage will just be active from that point onwards but I just wanted to check. (I know I can change my password but it’s an effort to do it on all devices- I just want this question answered). Thanks

Thanks, there are a few messages on my current phone from a few weeks ago and I am just wondering if they will come through if she was to log into iMessage on my old phone. They are deleted on my current phone I just wondered if those messages would come through when she entered the password on the old phone. I know she would see any messages from after she enters the password I just wanted to know if it would load those from before (I don’t actually remember ever signing out of imessage on my old phone but I’m guessing if it’s asking for my password it must’ve automatically signed me out when I wasn’t using it or something).
