clearing browser cache

some of my webpages aren't loading properly and I was told to clear my browser cache, but I've forgotten how I've done this... is this the same as clearing history or no? please someone share how to clear browser cache, thanks very much!

In Safari's Advanced preference, enable "Show Develop menu in menu bar". The Develop menu includes "Empty Caches".
