IOS trying to manage my Google Emails

I understand that IOS may want to manage my mail, but what they are asking me permission for and trying to force me to agree to is far more than that. They are asking to read and send and delete mail. Furthermore, this is my Mac Mini asking me for this. The only place I ever use my google emails(Gmail and Hotmail) account is on my cell phone. I understand that IOS devices talk to each other for syncing reasons and I am OK with that. But I do not want that this Mac Mini to have any interaction with my mail accounts as I manage them quite well myself on my iPhone. I do sign into google on my Mac Mini for the purposes of the google drive and other google features. So it seams I will forever be clicking that **** pop up.

I do use Mac Mail for a completely other email account, provided by my ISP. would removing Mac Mail from my Mac mini stop this ?

On your Mac, Sys Prefs>Internet Accounts>Google, does unchecking Mail help?
