I have a new I phone Xr. I’ve done the face recognition but can’t get any further...

the screen says Password changed but won’t let me continue and the time is wrong???

Face Recognition, password failure I had created a face recognition for my iPhone X and when I went to use it it had asked for the password I had made on my iPhone. I then went to use the same passcode I use on all my device and it says it was an invalid password. Unsure if this is a glitch in the iPhone or what is going on here. Bottom line I can not get into my iPhone after attempting to set up face recognition.
