Screen malfunction

So I had restarted my phone (Hard reset) to fix an issue with something else and my phone went purple ,green and offset. No idea what happened but I went to the lock screen again and it was fine. Can I get an answer. Also all the “buttons” acted like they weren’t affected so it didn’t affect the touch
