Battery service

Hi,

We have had an iPad Air since new, and the battery is now only lasting around an hour. I thought I could take it into an Apple store and have the battery replaced for £89. On doing a bit of research it appears that Apple dont actually replace iPad batteries? Obviously I'd be happy with a like-for-like replacement, but I cant find any further information on which are the 'eligible iPad models'.

If anyone can shed any light I would be very grateful!

Apple will make the determination. If there is a replacement, it will be more than that and you will most likely wind up with a refurbished unit. So, take it to an Apple store and have them tell you how they will handle it.
