I need to disable remote management

Hi,

I bought a new MacBook Pro and had it shipped to me. My company has an account with Apple and we use it to buy our equipment at a small discount.

I received my new computer and booted it, expecting to get the usual workflow that includes an option to restore from a Time Machine backup, which I have.

Instead, I was halted at a screen that says "Remote Management" telling me that my computer was controlled by the administrator of my company.

The problem is that *I* am the owner of the company and the only person who would be such an administrator, and I never set up or requested any such service.

How do I disable or bypass this and get it back to being a normal MacBook?

See if this is it:

Use the kickstart command-line utility in Apple Remote Desktop

Thanks. Yes, I know what Device Enrollment is. What I don't understand is why my computer has it or how I turn it off.

Again, this is a brand-new computer that I just purchased. Not a resale. And the device enrollment thing says it belongs to my company, not IBM or some other business.

I am the owner and primary administrator of my company. I can't figure out how this got turned on or how I turn it off. Is there some web site where I can log in and manage devices? I tried logging in to the Device Enrollment site but it didn't accept my credentials.

I guess I'll give up and call Apple.
