upgrade from a I Pad 4th Gen with retina display

Hi i originally purchasesd a I pad 4th Generation + Retina Display when it was launched as it will not accept anymore updates past ios 10.3.3 maybe it is time to buy a new one ... but which pad is best ? i have been happy with my current pad and being a woman i like to carry it around in my handbag or carry on luggage when traveling as i view movies/music and audio books

but i am not technical and confused with the choice of models now available ... i was even thinking of a macbook but think it would be a bit cumbersome when traveling and i have an i mac at home in the office

iPad, iOS 10

For what it sounds like you’re doing, the most recent regular ipad should be sufficient. If you’re just using it for ebooks, email, surfing, etc, then you probably don’t need the extra expense of a pro.

If you want something smaller, then the 5th gen mini could work for you, but if you’re like me and your eyesight prefers more screen real estate then the 6th gen ipad will work.
