Mini Mac, iOS apps and touchscreen monitor capability

I am wanting to install touch screen monitors into our commercial kitchen for recording compliance but the recording tool is not url based (app store or google play). Will purchasing the new Mini Mac with the M1 chip and using a touch screen display solve my problem? Thanks

if you purchase a lcd monitor with touch screen support make sure that it has a driver for macOS otherwise it will only work as a monitor, if it does have a touch screen driver from the manufacturer it would be transparent for macOS that the click was from touch rather than a mouse or touchpad
