Can Mac products be compatible with touch screen features to a portable touchscreen second monitor? If so how?

Mini Mac, iOS apps and touchscreen monitor capability I am wanting to install touch screen monitors into our commercial kitchen for recording compliance but the recording tool is not url based (app store or google play). Will purchasing the new Mini Mac with the M1 chip and using a touch screen display solve my problem? Thanks

yes, if the screen connects to usb as well as to the hdmi/displayport.... and has a macOS driver
