iPhone XS Max camera having lens flare/glare/ghosting when taking low-light or night pictures
I got my iPhone XS Max not even a month ago but just a few days after using it noticed a sort of pattern when I take night pictures. It comes off as a string of lights that seem to reflect the subject in the pictures, casting an additional "shadow" or "ghost" light effect.
I thought it was just the lens, but it was just a few days old so obviously it was peak condition still. I brushed it off to just me getting around the new camera & not knowing how to take night pictures properly (even if I am bit knowledgeable about this, coming from a media major). I cleaned the lens, checked angles, and blamed it on poor execution.
However, nearly a month after with continued usage and more experience of the phone, same problem.
It makes me so disappointed to think this could be a hardware problem because that means any future software IOS updates won't fix this & I'd have to live knowing I spent almost a thousand dollars with an incompetent camera. Not getting my money's worth.
Please, help? :(
