Cellular data failed (iPhone 8)

Lately after I updated my iPhone 8, from 12.1.2 to iOS 12.2 I encountered an error saying "Cellular data failed update", I tried airplane mode, resetting network settings, ended up having to set up an appointment with apple store for a repair today around 5:30pm, (4 Hours earlier I had my screen front and back replaced with third party parts), I went in gave them my phone they took it to the back, and came back and told me "Looks like the motherboard is having a HARDWARE issue, we'd need to swap.it out, but we cant do to third party parts used, we decline to service and cant ship it off to get it replaced. Best advice is to sell it for as much as you can and COME BACK AND UPGRADE YOUR PHONE IMMEDIATELY". Only solution they could come up with was to upgrade my phone. I saw a girl with a bad charging port on her phone, instead of servicing it, they were trying to upsell more than help customers. I'm curious to know is that is there a part I missed in my warranty that says specifically "Will refuse service is the GLASSES on both sides of the phone are third party repaired"??? My phone is now just an ipod because of THEIR own hardware issue....

Exactly, but only the front screen was connected, but apparently an issue with the "LogicBoard" something about a bad imei reading to the "logicboard" failed. Now the motherboard is apple branded and an OFFICIAL motherboard, I dont see how a third party replacement screen would've been that issue when i had my screen replaced 4 hours prior to going into my appointment, therefore i had the issue even before my screen was replaced. Leaving me confused, when I look over warranty and I see this "(c) to damage caused by use with a third party component or product that does not meet the Apple Product’s specifications (Apple Product specifications are available at www.apple.com under the technical specifications for each product and also available in stores); " Like I said, I had this issue BEFORE I even replaced the screen, so I dont see where this would be under "caused by 3rd party components" this all originally started from the ios 12.1.2 to iOS 12.2 and somehow my phone could not communicate properly with the "LogicBoard".... This is a software issue, causing a hardware issue and apple declines to service it because of a third party screen install. If that's the true case.. I'll slap back on their OEM screen and bring it back in all cracked up. This is honestly ridiculous how apple treats their devices. I understand if it's like "Oh, third party installed a new motherboard" but a screen??? A screen?!?!?.
