I’ve been experiencing a problem with Snapchat today, and just a few hours ago, the app’s icon turned into this white grid. Is this a problem with the app, or is something wrong with my phone?

white grid issue :( i have an issue with a white grid icon on an app. i cannot access the app and if i delete it and force restart the phone, the app with the white grid automatically comes back. can someone explain what this white grid is (as in what it means) and what to do to fix this asap. i have asked on apple support (on imessage) and nothing had worked. my automatic downloads are on and i’ve reset all my settings aswell. nothing has worked so far so please help !!

Wrong sized icons with obscured text on home screen iOS 14 I'm having an issue with my iPhone SE2's home screen. Frequently an app icon appears in a different size from the other icons. The icon is rectangular like it's "stretched" taller than the normal icons and the name of the app is obscured by the icon below it. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to what kind of app it happens to. It's very random. This is on a home screen without any widgets. Is this a known bug? Any solutions?

That icon indicates an app that hasn't completely downloaded, which in your case happens to be 'Snapchat'. That said, do you have 'Automatic Downloads' turned on? Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads > Apps & Updates.

Turn on Automatic Downloads or App Updates

To resolve the problem, follow the steps in the article below.
