Iphone 6 stuck on battery logo

My phones battery has been having some problem for awhile now. First It was that it died faster, then it was at the point it dies at 70%, and then it got to the point where It would die and i would have to heat it up with body heat or a blow dryer to turn it back on. Now heating my phone up does not work at all. I just want to know if replacing the battery will make my phone turn on again.
