IPV6 Mac Server 5.6.3 DNS not resolving

Cannot get Domain name to resolve to server running High Sierra server 5.6.3, new to IPV6, Can anyone point me to how DNS should be setup. Domain is registered at Godaddy, running server behind router with IPV6 enabled, Have an A record, NS Record. mxtoolbox states "sorry couldn't find any name servers. IP address will bring up default server page. Have tried entering IPV6 address, ip address, and using both IPV6 and ip address (IPV4). Read somewhere about an AAAA record. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Just explaining the records I need to resolve will be helpful.

You’ll have to manually edit the name server zone records to get the AAAA records.

And if this is an externally-accessible host as it appears, there’s not a whole lot of reason to run your own DNS servers. Add the AAAA records at your external DNS provider.

If you want your own DNS servers on your own internal network using macOS with Server (prior to Mojave and 5.7.1), then start with the following resources:

Server is largely deprecated in 5.7.1 and later, including the deprecation of the DNS server. Which means migrating to a different solution (such as the CutEdge DNS Enabler), or migrating DNS to a different platform; Linux, BSD, Windows Server, Synology with a DNS package add-on, etc...
