"No view options" in iTunes View

When trying to change my library to "list view" or just songs, "View > View Options" results in a popup "No view options available."

Any time I want to do something simple with iTunes, I have to google a solution, and always find their are 50-100+ more people with the same error.

Does Apple not dogfood their own product?
