iTunes 12.9.4.94 continuously quits unexpectedly on Mac

My iTunes quits unexpectedly every time I open it.

I have tried to delete the Genius.itdb file as recommended on another post.

I have tried restarting.

I have upgraded from Sierra to Mojave in the hope that iTunes would fix itself. It has not.

I have the latest version of iTunes.

I cannot delete and reinstall because it's part of the Mac system and has to be there.

Really struggling to find answers so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you emptied the trash to make sure iTunes isn't still using the deleted file?

Have you tried holding down option+command as you launch iTunes to open it in safe mode?

Have you tried holding down option as you launch iTunes, then choosing or creating a different library?

Have you tried rebooting the Mac in safe mode?
