deleting folders/albums in Photos

I have on occasion by accident created a folder or album in Photos when I meant to create the other.

Trying with option, command, or combinations to delete the unwanted folder/album has been unsuccessful. Right "click" does not bring up a sub-menu. There is nothing in the menu bar to delete.

Only way I can get the problem resolved is to use the folder/album with a name or just call it unused and move to the bottom of the list.

Any way to get rid of an unused folder/album even when created by "accident"?

Control click on it in the sidebar of Photos should bring up a menu with the delete option. Suspect you've tried that as you mention right click -- but you didn't mention that key combination.
