Sign out of FaceTime and iMessage using the steps below:


You need to follow these steps:

  • FaceTime: Go to Settings/FaceTime. Tap on your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
  • iMessage: Go to Settings/Messages. Tap on Send & Receive, then tap on your Apple ID and tap Sign Out.

Sounds like the person you spoke to doesn't know how iPhones work on their network.


You can stop using iMessage/FaceTime and that would stop the messages. See below for how to shut it off. You MUST do both steps to stop the messages. Information courtesy of Lawrence Finch


You need to follow these steps:

  • FaceTime: Go to Settings/FaceTime. Tap on your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
  • iMessage: Go to Settings/Messages. Tap on Send & Receive, then tap on your Apple ID and tap Sign Out.


Once you have done that there will be one more text to the UK for each to notify the server that you have signed out, but there should not be any more after that.

I called them for the 3rd time and they told me something wrong in my iPhone and apple should solve this now I don’t know what can I do if there’s something in my mobile how I can solve it and if not what can i do I don’t want to stop iMessages on my mobile I just bought this mobile 2 months ago and that’s what happened, i was having iPhone 6 Plus before and I didn’t face this problem
