Hi how do I downgrade from Mac OS Mojave 10.14.4 to an older version if I have no time machine backup? My computer slowed down immensely for some reason and I need step by step instruction. Maybe using a separate USB and getting the installer from the website?
It would be better IMHO to figure out why your computer is having issues.
Post an etrecheck report if you want to proceed with troubleshooting the issue.
I updated to 10.14.5 but still the same as 10.14.4. Everything worked fine in 10.14.1 until I updated. Seems weird since it should have the same performance. Now my safari crashes all the time and everything's slow. Here's a report.
You only have 4GB RAM which is not enough to run Mojave at its best.
You have third party antivirus or cleaning apps installed that are usining system resources while providing no benifit. Uninstall CleanMyMac and ClamXAV.
You have adware installed, remove these.
Uninstall your browser extensions.
Enable GateKeeper and SIP.
You'd need to erase your hard drive and then re-install Mojave and that would bring you up to 10.14.5. The only solution would be if you saved your original Mojave installer on your hard drive.
As Bob says, you are better off trying to troubleshoot whatever issues you are having. Etrecheck is a good place to begin.
