iPhone Backup using itunes

Hello

I have few pictures which I have synced in my iPhone using iTunes (not clicked using iPhone). Simply those are outside pictures. So it was showing it in my Album under ‘From my Mac’ category.

Now tell me if you are going to take a backup using iTunes then those “few pictures” will not get backed up?

I have lost all my other pictures just because it is not mentioned anywhere that you have to copy or sync those pictures separately which you have not clicked using your iPhone. Really upset with this service of you Apple.

You call it a security, I say this is a customer convenience violation.

If I will get a chance then I will sue you for this as I have lost all my valuable pictures.

The second paragraph of How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support points you in the direction of About backups for iOS devices - Apple Support for those very details about what is excluded. iOS device backups include the contents of the camera roll, data & settings for your apps, etc. They do not include apps, media, or content that is stored in iCloud.

This is a user to user support forum. We don't write the support articles.

See Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support to export the camera roll.

You can email non-camera roll pictures to yourself, or try third party software such as iFunbox to copy off other images.

Hello

Tell me one thing what is a complete backup means? When I have some pictures in my phone, it is obvious that those pictures are important for me as well. First it was a pain for me to sync those pictures in my iPhone as I had to sync the complete folder because there is no option to select single picture while syncing. Now this.

Why are you guys making it difficult for the customer?

You guys should mention it here also that there are exceptions while taking a backup. It is not written here.

Because when a person is following these instructions, it is obvious that the person is not checking other things. It might confuse him/her.
