Have not been able to answer incoming calls on my phone for several days.

Have not been able to answer incoming calls on my phone for several days. The screen freezes and I have to power it off. Tried several hints from Google forums, but nothing has worked, ie, toggle airplane mode switch, turned off Bluetooth, did a hard restart....nothing has worked. Does anyone have any other suggestions? TIA

Try to change the Announce Calls to Never.

Thanks for your response. I’ve tried everything except removing and reinserting the SIM card, and resetting the network settings. Don’t trust myself to do it right. No Apple store near me, so will try to find someone who works on these new phones.
