Hi,
Would anyone know of a way to have the iPad/iPhone show the video on screen at same time as it outputting the video to the AirPlay receiver/HDMI AV connected device, like I can on my Android tablet?

if you use airplay mirror it should do that

Actually there is a product I've just found called AirTame, which does video mirroring, where AirPlay can't. But it's a separate product, with a separate small App download (and it's not a cheap solution, but it is Enterprise grade).
So gather there's no way to disable screen casting and having mirroring for videos via Airplay or HDMI AV adapter?
Thanks for reply. We’ve got a half dozen iPads, iPhones (even down to iPhone4s), and ATV3, ATV4, but all seem to give the ‘the video is playing on the external device’ message whenever we play any videos, YouTubes etc
Mirrors everything but videos.
