Need help

So my daughter disabled the phone I gave her to the point I needed to connect it to iTunes and restore it and now I need her Apple ID and password which she doesn’t even know so what can I do? Why can I just restore as if it’s a brand new phone

Apple ID - How to find your Apple An iCloud e-mail address is an Apple ID.

Apple ID - Find

Enter her Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
