ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro stopped working

Recently updated to OS X Sierra 10.12.6.


Scanner has stopped working. It makes gurgling sounds, then must force quit.


I have read the boards and uninstalled and reinstalled correct driver.


I appreciate any suggestions.
